“Spirit by Nature” CD cover

Spirit by Nature is Paul’s  collection of 21st century back-porch, spirit-made, country folk songs living in the dream of divine imagination. An acoustic blend of mountain mandolin, acoustic guitar and country piano backing two & three part vocal harmonies, these lyric-oriented songs aim to stay spiritually active in a world of mass distraction.

Recorded at the distinctive Audio Park recording studio,  with audio master, “he who hears all”, Park Peters, “Spirit by Nature” enlists the talents of many long-time Denver musician friends and former band-mates of the Light Brigade band. Barry Ebert contributes harmony vocals, Craig Fisher on piano, Brian Mikulich on percussion, and Steve Ralph on bass, along with  Mile Hi Church all stars Rob Lowe on Hammond B-3 organ and keys, and Blake Eberhard on bass.

The first track, Oh Love Divine, invokes the divine powers that be, to “blaze within this heart of mine..”, when I am aware of the presence within a quiet prayer.
